Mission Statement (Summary): |
- At Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy and Early Learning
Center, we believe that God has uniquely created each of His
children and endued them with gifts to be used to bring Him honor
and glory. We consider it our responsibility to unfold this uniqueness
and these gifts in each child and to motivate each child to do
his utmost to achieve and exemplify excellence in every aspect
of his life. Thus, all learning will be rooted in the understanding
of faith in God and the power of His Word.

- To provide an excellent education in a Christ-like

Course Offerings (In Brief): |
- College preparatory courses, including Bible, Advanced
Placement courses, International Studies, French, Spanish, Latin,
SAT Preparatory Classes, Computer Courses, Physics, Speech, Art
History and Appreciation, Music Studies , Consumer Economics,
Auto Cad, exciting and academically stimulating field trips and
annual trips for middle and senior high school students.

Extracurricular Activities: |
- Students are encouraged to participate in Before and After
School Programs (K5-5th grades). Other clubs and organizations
include the National Honor Society, Student Government Association,
Basketball and Track teams, Competitive Cheerleading , Yearbook
staff, Publications and Journalism Club, Senior BETA Club, Junior
BETA Club, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), National
French Honor Society, Foreign Language Clubs, Alliance of Elect
Virtuous Young Ladies (AVEYL (pronounced : "avail"));
Preparing Virtuous Elect Young Leaders (PREVEYL (pronounced:
"prevail")); Math Club and Chemistry Club.

Campus: |
- SACA is situated on an 8 acre campus with tennis/ basketball
court: Early Learning Center playground: magnificent Media Center
with state of the art computer lab: equipped with over 2,000
volumes, the latest reference materials, extensive periodical
options; a computer network (LAN) and Internet access; a special,
separate learning center for those students which need to improve
their reading, science or math skills. Our new gymnasium has
an indoor track and spacious classrooms for the high school,
and is the home of the SACA Warriors Basketball Teams. Our Boys
Varsity Basketball Team has been repeat Regional Champions and
made it to the State Final Four Championship in 2001 and 2002;
in 2003, our team placed second in the State Championships.

- Chapel is held once a week.

Enrollment Information: |
- All new students will be given an entrance exam, at designated
times, by appointment only. The application, and other forms
in the application package, must be completed and submitted to
the office along with the non-refundable application fee. A separate
registration fee is due upon the child's acceptance in the school.

Chapel Requirements: |
- Chapel is held once a week. All students are required
to attend in dress uniform.

- Students are expected to have respect for authority, respect
the rights of others, and comply fully with all school rules
and regulations. Wearing school uniforms and adhering to the
hair code are mandatory.
